Louis & Finlay Ashford

These twin brothers are dedicated triathletes who, in 2019, were granted funding from SYDF for a full year’s coaching costs. Those costs are considerable in triathlon because there are three disciplines involved (swimming, running & cycling) and each one brings its own expenses. The charity was happy to assist because the boys, both talented members of MedwayTri, were competing in British Triathlon’s South East Junior Series and were selected to represent the SE region’s duathlon team. The two have also achieved success in the single discipline of cross-country running and are expecting to continue with their hectic training schedules for the foreseeable future.
